Everything you can run — from your first round-robin to season-long leagues, across badminton, tennis, pickleball, padel, table tennis, and squash. Pick a section on the left, or read straight through.

RallyIQ helps tournament directors run competitive racquet-sport events: build fair draws, process results live across every court, and produce trusted standings — with AI analytics layered on top to surface insights as the event unfolds. Singles or doubles, one-day events or multi-week ladder leagues, it is all in one place.

The things you can run

• Tournaments — one-off events with live scoreboards and standings across several courts.
• Pools + playoffs — group stages that feed seeded knockout rounds, with medal matches.
• Ladder leagues — ongoing seasons, scored cycle by cycle, with automatic promotion and relegation.
• Team events — club-vs-club ties made of multiple singles and doubles matches.

Quick start

The fastest path to your first match:

1. From the dashboard, select New Tournament.
2. Name the event, choose singles or doubles, and add your players.
3. Pick a format — RallyIQ builds the schedule, pools, and court plan for you.
4. On the day, open the event, tap a match, and enter the score. Standings recalculate instantly.
5. Share the live link so players and spectators can follow along.

Creating a tournament

Select New Tournament and set the basics:

• Sport — sets default scoring rules (win score, win-by-2, sideout vs rally).
• Match type — singles, doubles, or fixed-partner doubles.
• Players — add them by hand, import a roster, or sync from a rating provider.
• Format — how the draw is structured (see Tournament formats).

Match types & partners

Singles

One player per side — the simplest event to run and the cleanest to seed by rating.

Doubles

Two players per side. Partners can rotate each round (social) or stay fixed all event (competitive).

Fixed-partner pairs

Lock a pair together so they are always drawn and seeded as one unit through pools, playoffs, and medal rounds.

Tournament formats

Round robin

Everyone plays everyone in their pool — the fairest read on form. Every player gets the same number of guaranteed games, and standings come straight from the results.

Pools + playoffs

Group stage followed by a seeded knockout. Pools guarantee games; playoffs produce a clean champion. The default for medium-to-large fields.

Single elimination

Straight knockout — lose and you are out. Fast and decisive for big fields and tight time slots; pair it with a consolation bracket for guaranteed games.

Snakes & Ladders

Court-based movers: winners climb toward court 1, losers slide down. Social-but-competitive, and it keeps every court close.

Mexicano

Pairings are generated each round by current standing, so games stay tight and partners rotate. Great for one-roster social sessions.

Format recommender

Not sure what to run? Tell RallyIQ your field size, how long you have, and whether you want guaranteed games or a fast knockout — it suggests a format and explains the trade-offs in plain English.

Seeding, courts & scheduling

Seed by rating to keep the strongest players apart until late, then let RallyIQ assign courts and time slots automatically. The schedule balances court usage and rest between games, and reflows if you add or remove a player.

Recording scores

Tap a match, enter the game scores, and save. Win-by-2 and your chosen win score are enforced, so a tie can never slip through. Standings, court status, and the public link all update the moment you save.

Standings & tiebreakers

Standings are computed live and sorted by a clear, configurable order:

1. Wins — matches won.
2. Head-to-head — who won when two are level.
3. Point differential — points scored minus points conceded.
4. Points scored — total points for.

Every tiebreak is shown, so when standings are tight there is nothing to argue about.

Playoffs & seeding

When pools finish, RallyIQ seeds the knockout automatically — top seeds meet lowest seeds, byes go to the highest seeds. Playoff slots show TBD until the feeding pool resolves, then fill in by themselves.

Editing & removing games

Made a typo? Reopen any match, correct the score, and standings recompute. Remove a no-show or add a game late and the schedule and rankings adjust without breaking the rest of the draw.

AI analytics & assistant

This is what sets RallyIQ apart from a draw-and-score tool. The intelligence layer:

• Builds draws from a description — "16-player doubles round-robin on 3 courts" becomes a complete schedule (beta).
• Surfaces trends mid-event — current leaders, form swings, point-differential momentum, and projected group winners, updated as results land.
• Answers questions out loud — ask who is winning Pool B or to read the semifinal results, hands-free while you run courts.

Ladder leagues

Run an ongoing season from one member roster. Each cycle, members are split into rating-seeded groups of 3–5 and play a round-robin. Close a cycle to lock standings, then start the next — the bottom of each group drops down and the top of the group below moves up automatically, with a movement history showing who went where.

Awards & badges

At the end of an event, RallyIQ generates a podium plus optional achievement badges — biggest comeback, longest win streak, cleanest sweep — to hand out and share.

PDF & CSV reports

Export a polished event report — draw, every result, final standings, and awards — as a PDF to archive or send to your group. Need the raw numbers? Export matches and standings as CSV for your own analysis or league records. Printable per-court score sheets are available for backup or paper-at-the-net groups.

Sharing a live link

Every event has one public live link. Share it once and players and spectators follow brackets, court status, and standings from their phones in real time — no account needed to watch.

Private player links & self-scoring

Give each player or team a private link so they can enter their own court's scores. RallyIQ keeps everything in sync, so you do not have to run between courts collecting results.

Recap card & emails

After an event, RallyIQ builds a clean recap card — champion, podium, and headline stats — sized for your group chat or socials, and can email every player their results, final placing, and the event highlights automatically.
